Not a lot going on here, it's a long weekend but we haven't been up to much, just some shopping, mostly for boring stuff. Scarlett and Joe start their pre-entry Kindy in less than 3 weeks now and so we went shopping for lunchboxes which they thought was very exciting. Scarlett chose a lovely pink Disney Princess design and Joe managed to get a big red Spiderman design. New sunhats for both as well and now they are all set for the big day.
We had parent/teacher interviews with Abs teacher the other night and he is extremely impressed with her abilities with English and said she is rating "off the charts" for her age. He likened her reading abilities to that of a Yr7-9 student (she's only Yr 3) and was also impressed with her spelling, grammar and comprehension of what she is reading. He is also very pleased with her maths and she is still above average but has a little room to improve in one or two areas. Overall she seems to be doing great, and I am so glad she is in a great school that knows how to challenge her without pushing too hard.

Exciting times coming up with the twins and getting ready for kindy. It's great to hear Abs doing so well too Jo. My 2 girls are always above standards with their work too and Grace being yr9 this year has been told that she can take VCE English Literature as an elective next year.....you don't get that opportunity to often.
